My GCSE final

This is my GCSE final piece. I chose to create a piece like this because I wanted to included my interests in the work while still being inspired by the artist i researched Alan Bennett. In this piece there are guitars, an amp and a skateboard made to look as though they are part of a landscape. i chose to do this to express my love for music, instruments and skating and to give an artist spin on them. Alan Bennett painted very surreal and dark landscapes which i took a particular liking too.

First Year College Work- Glass work

This is my first year glass work. I liked this project because its out come was very interesting. We had a piece of glass and we decorated it with various different materials includeing nuts, bolts, textured and coloured glass and colour glass wire. when we were happy with our design we placed another glass plate on top of it and put it in the kiln. the out come was very interest.

First Year College Work- Painting

Here i have posted my painting work I did back in my first year. I enjoyed this final piece because it contains a lot of visual communication. We had to base our final piece on the dream world and I found this very enjoyable to create.

First Year College Work- Company Project

I made this back at the end of my first year and it has been one of my favourite projects so far. The point of this project was to create our own company and we were allowed to make it what ever we wanted, so I took my love of skating and created my own skate company. In this project I came up with a brand name, a brand logo, created some brand promotional poster, a skate demo poster hosted by the brand, some route one magazine covers with the brand being promoted on it and i also created my own skateboard design.

This is my First year 3D work. I took a liking to this subject because it gave us the opportunity to do whatever we wanted. and this is what I came up with.

First Year College Work- Clay Work

 This is my Clay work I did in the first year of college. I didnt really take a liking to the pottery making but I did take a fancy to the terracotta slab designs.

These are my final pieces for my clay work which was based on the natural and constructed world. I designed three slabs that blended into each other.One of the slabs was a natural desgin and another was a constructed design. Unfortunetly I havent got a picture of the middle slab which linked the two together, but it was a design containing both natural and constructed forms.
